ANUKALANA YOGA
Italy
My first experiences with oriental disciplines began in '77 when I was introduced by a family member to the world of martial arts to begin a process of growth.
From the very beginning I was fascinated by the philosophy that accompanies these disciplines and in later years I became interested also in the practices more "internal" related to the Taoist culture where the development of potential and latent resources is considered essential for a comprehensive development of the individual.
The strong desire to explore deeper and deeper into the nature of body and mind I was then led to begin the practice of Meditation and Yoga in the late 80s but the key moment of this journey came when at the beginning of 90 I went to live for a period in India where I could attend monasteries and ashrams and be followed by experienced teachers in a context suitable to retreat to meditate.
In India I fell in love of Yoga and Tantra culture . I had the good fortune to meet a teacher who got me started on this path (Vidya Tantra) which still relies on my daily practice and my lifestyle.
In the following years I have attended training courses such as Yoga and Qi Gong teacher and I started in '94 to lead my first courses in Florence.
The passion for these disciplines and the desire to deepen me back several times in India and around Europe and America to attend retreats, semiari and specialization courses through which I discovered many ways of bringing the discipline of Yoga in contact with the various needs that arise in the life of modern man.
Discover new ways to approach to Yoga has helped me to keep an open mind and continually renew the passion for this practice. Meanwhile experiences as a teacher made me realize that Yoga is associated in a natural way the search for a physical and mental wellbeing that can be supported by taking the right approach to lifestyle and attitudes of mind.
So at the end of the 90s I embarked on a course of study to become a naturopathic doctor first and then Counselor.
At one point I of course I felt the need to begin to integrate the various knowledge and practices that daily help me to stay focused on my journey of personal growth. following the specific criteria that allow you to integrate different techniques that have goals and principles, I started in 2004 to develop and test a practice that could be adapted to my needs psychophysical from moment to moment.
Anukalana was born mainly as a result needs some  born in the years ...
After a few years of work and research, and with the help and encouragement of my students who gave me valuable feedback, I started to propose this method giving it the name Anukalana, which in Sanskrit means
integration.
I have always believed that every human being is driven internally by natural forces that led him at times to be dynamic, sometimes fluid, sometimes expanding, etc.. the disciplines that I studied and practiced helped me to frame well where these natural impulses originate and what they tend to go to. Managing to channel and harmonize these inner forces has allowed me to feel "unified", "healthy" and all ' Today I continue to work to refine the method I developed to make it suitable to meet the needs of each individual.
I firmly believe that Yoga is born for man and not man for yoga .... I mean that yoga is born to be really suitable for everyone and that is why it continues to adapt to the needs of man over the centuries renewed thanks to the contribution of those who love and practice it, the ways in which more and more raggionge people.
Today I work with passion to refine and disseminate Anukalana respecting the fundamental principles of Traditional Yoga to give my students a tool that makes them closer to themselves :-)
The search continues with the collaboration
